Compagnia Italiana Terra e Tavola was created in 2012 with the goal to reveal the many undiscovered pearls of Sicily. It represents small growers who know and respect their land, but who do not have finances to bottle and market their wines. Giovanna Moretti, owner of Contrada Santo Spirito di Passopisciaro, is the main owner of the company and the wines are produced in partnership with the winemaker from Contrada Santo Spirito. The first vintage was 2014, and the initial production was about 450 cases for each wine. The wines are all aged in stainless steel to best express their terroir. Farming practices: Sustainable, in harmony with nature. |
