Paris Rocchi |
The Mancini estate was founded in the early 1960's by Benito Mancini. Its vineyards are located in the hills of Maiolati Spontini and Castelbellino, in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi zone. Today, Benito is assisted by his children, Massimo, Emanuela and Sergio. The modern winery is located near the historic family home, and includes state of the art temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Vinification and bottling take place in naturally cool rooms, to insure that the fresh aromatics are captured, which is very important for the white wines. All wines are estate bottled, from estate grapes. Soil: Clay and limestone, with a prevalence of sand. Exposition: North-East. Vineyards: Emphasis on environmentally sound practices. Espalier trellising and strict pruning to control yields. |
