The venerable Château de Bel-Air presides with stately elegance over 15 hectares of rolling vineyards in the exclusive Lalande de Pomerol region of Bordeaux. “Bel-Air” refers to the “good air” at the ideal elevation and exposure of the Château’s hillside vineyards, overlooking the Bardanne creek, which separates Lalande de Pomerol from Pomerol. Bel-Air only makes one cuvée. The domaine was bought in 2011 by Michel de Laet Derache, a private banker, and his wife Christel. Farming practices: Sustainable - No herbicides. |
